I freaking hate it.
If you want me to be mature and grown up or whatever, why do you keep suffocating me emotionally and mentally by telling me every little thing that I should do???
I need to make decisions for myself, that’s the point of being an adult. But no, you always want to control my life, from what I wear to my weight to what I should do in life.
I can’t freaking take it anymore. That’s why I stick up for myself. I don’t even understand why I go through this and I have to put up with it.
You never believed in me. That’s why you pulled me out of dance. That’s why I didn’t do so well in school and I’m stuck at community college where I feel like im nothing and stupid.
You don’t think that I could live on my own, but I think I can.
I feel like I’m always being judged for everything and Imscared of what you think of me because I’m scared that I’m not good enough.
And yet, you do make me feel like I’m not good enough.
You always have something negative to say to me.
I’m not looking to fight. But you are.
STOP talking at me. When you talk to me in a condescending way, I automatically get defensive.
You never listen to what I have to say. Well you do, but you mock me and then get mad at me for it. What is that?!
I try to be the best that I can. I want to make you proud but I feel like I haven’t done anything in my life to make you feel like you have raised a mature and beautiful daughter inside and out.
Even when I’m just asking a question, you always have to get mad at me for asking. I don’t freaking get why. I didn’t freaking do anything wrong so why do you always have to take it out on me?
So I freaking thank you for making me feel like I’m a failure and I’m the worst person in the world.
